Protecting your personal data matters to me. This website processes personal data only within the legal bases set out in Art. 6(1) GDPR (legitimate interest, consent, legal obligation).

3. Hosting and Server Log Files

This website is hosted with a shared-hosting provider (manitu). When you visit the website, the hosting provider automatically collects technical log files (IP address, date/time, requested page, browser/operating system) as far as necessary for technical operation and security. These log files are automatically deleted after 21 days. Legal basis: Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR (legitimate interest in reliable and secure operation).

4. Analytics with Umami

Anonymous traffic analysis uses the self-hosted software Umami. Umami does not store IP addresses or any personally identifying data, sets no cookies, and does not allow cross-device recognition of individual visitors. No data is shared with third parties, since analysis runs entirely on a self-operated server.

5. Cookies and Local Storage

This website does not use cookies and does not store any data in the device's local storage. A cookie consent banner is therefore not required.

6. Fonts

This website currently uses only system fonts already present on the visitor's device. No external fonts are loaded.

7. Content Management

Content on this website is maintained via a separately operated content management system (Directus). Text and images are fetched only when the website is built; visitors' requests never connect to the content management system at runtime.

8. Contact

If you contact me by email, the data you provide (sender, message content) is processed solely to handle your request. Legal basis: Art. 6(1)(b) or (f) GDPR. Data is deleted once it is no longer needed for that purpose.

Under the GDPR you have the right to access (Art. 15), rectification (Art. 16), erasure (Art. 17), restriction of processing (Art. 18), data portability (Art. 20), and objection to processing (Art. 21). Please use the contact address above.

You also have the right to lodge a complaint with a data protection supervisory authority, e.g. the Brandenburg State Commissioner for Data Protection and the Right to Access Information.
